Racing Awareness Scotland heads to Thirlestane Castle to support Race Against Dementia

After a mixed bag of racing on the 4th and 5th of June. Spills, thrills, crashes (all well except car!) we are heading off to the Scottish Borders with a pitch where will be there to support Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia https://www.raceagainstdementia.com/

Looking back to June, we had fantastic support after one of our team Andrew crashed, he’s ok but here is what Rab had to say about the true spirit of SuperLap Scotland:

Attention……..

These two normally seen on wanted posters am sure but today they and their team and friends are the hero’s

I rarely write anything on Facebook however yesterday after one of our newbie drivers had quite a big shunt in one of our Megan’s, we became the recipient of what I feel is back to the true Super Lap Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 spirit. Out of no where we had Tom Lockhart on the case and next thing we know the Renomotive team were on the phone. Stuart Robertson and partner in crime Ashley Lapinskie had a plan as Stuart took off to strip another Megan with on of the boys for the parts I needed to get Andrew back on track. Meanwhile good old Donnie Macleod was over offer to feed and water us as he knew the task we had to rebuild the car in time. As luck would have it for Andrew Fahey his time in the final saw him take third. Massive thank you to all involved and all of the Marshalls and Knockhill Racing Circuit staff for helping Andrew Fahey.
